Description:

It´s a peaceful place perfect to spend time with the family and friends, ideal to do camping. The sand is smooth and the river reach the sea here in this area. A great variety of fish, crab and oyster can be found in this place. The sea shore is full of coconut palm tree. The mangrove swamp at the river is an extra, for the tourist. Year with year the place is visited for tortoises of sea.

Vega de Alatorre is located 60 km far from Xalapa, capital of the state.

The climate is tropical-hot, with an annual average temperature of 23,9°C.

Activities:

The farallón of San Carlos, small beach of fine sand, among cliffs; where a beautiful landscape of “La Mancha” lagoon can be admired. Also the “Navarro” and “Lechugillas” beaches are great places for recreation. “El Domingal” and “El Vado” are good places to practice fishing.
